I don't see how anyone with conscience could allow this to pass without objection or correction. Sue stated that all "natives have been pretty much wiped out" . . . This statement is not only absurd, but insulting; there are a multitude of tribes today in the United States; Native American tribes are not only alive, well, and thriving within reservations as units throughout our country, probably within states you would never imagine as having Native American communities or reservations, but their members also number among successful members of our society outside reservations. That their population has been greatly diminished is historically clear, but "wiped out" is a blind acquiecence to Hollywood's earlier portrayals, a refusal to admit their existence and vitality and, in fact, real contribution to the America we know and in which we live. To tie this to ER4YT (and legitimize my post), Dr. D did suggest Native Americans are most probably type O and, therefore, need the hunter-gatherer meat/protein-based diet. As there ARE still a great many Native Americans amongst us, this would surely suggest a valuable source/resouce of information for any of our dietary approaches and research. Thank you for listening/reading. This website is a mine of information I am finding invaluable in making decisions and choices. anon/arizona
