In Response To: Peanuts? (Dee McC)
Hi, Dee McC! Groundnut is a common name in some areas for peanuts. My reply to Paul K goes into more detail, but I have a feeling that the plant I'm interested in just isn't a familiar one anymore.
I fear potatoes may have supplanted it, quite literally, in early American agriculture! I'll sniff around further. Thanks! cheerio
