A Certain Blood Test

Hi y'all! I have just had a very comprehensive blood test taken and the results came back with a high "sed" or "ced" rate. Normal is supposed to be about 20, and mine was 55. Do any of you learned people know what this could mean? Any feedback would be appreciated, I don't know if I should be worred or what I should do. Thanks a lot...
