Bone Density & high protein diet
Posted By: Donna Hetrick Date: May-23, 1998 at 10:19:51
Everywhere I turn, it is recommended that women especially stay away from a high protein diet as it causes calcium to be leeched from the bones. As a Blood Type O, I feel more balanced & satiated when eating animal protein every day - but will I get out of bed in 15 years and fall to the ground with a cracked hip due to low bone density? AM I really peeing out all my calcium? Any and all thoughts appreciated!
