Hi, Teri,

I think the microwave is the problem... It just cooks stuff
too darn fast for you to control it well, especially something
thin and relatively delicate like collards. Beside, it just
takes a few minutes in a pan with a little bit of water or broth.
I even eat the big ribs in the center! Adding garlic is great,
and with a bit of olive oil and lemon juice for dressing, you'll be
all set!

Good luck, and don't give up, you'll get the hang of it!
