Thanks, I just tore them off the large center rib like deveining spinach and then into pieces. When I was steaming them I kept checking for tenderness but they just went from tough to dried out and papery! Obviously that was over cooked at that point but perhaps they were over cooked already the first time I checked them. What amount of cooking time is normal? Also forgot to mention that I steamed them in my micro wave, Is that a "no, no"?
