Detoxification, new thoughts: Is it a good thing or not?

AS my now clear head was muddling around last night, I got to wondering. Since starting ER4YT in July '97, I've gone from being very, very sick, to being very sick, and am now just plain sick. Along the way, I never experienced any of the classical detoxification signs, such as diahrea, nausea, fevers, rashes, etc.

At first I was concerned, thinking that I was missing something. Now I'm wondering.

Most detoxification reactions seem to be the result of ingestion of some product, or a radical change in eating habit and ingesting high amounts of either raw food or one particular food.

Could it be that what is really happening is that our bodies are trying to get rid of the product being ingested, or in some way tell us that this way of eating is not healthy, and is producing the signs of what we classically call detoxification? In reality, are we making ourselves sicker by this process?

Your thoughts please,

best wishes,

Steve Shapiro
