The Juiceman (Jay) refers to several studies showing that vegetables in the nightshade family have chemicals which appear to trigger arthritis. Dr. D'Adamo has gone beyond that to show that certain vegetables in the nightshade family may trigger arthritis and other auto-immune diseases in certain blood types. Ie, he has fine tuned the nightshade theory. I'd suggest getting that book back and reading the section about autoimmune diseases. Also try scanning this board, you'll pick up alot of usefull information. best wishes,
