you can not spot reduce. if anything, large amounts of ab exercise will build muscle under the flab and make your stomach even less likly to look like one belonging to a 17 year old model.
the real solution is to work the big muscles in your body (like your legs and butt) so that you burn more fat.
Also, forget any nonsense about fat burning exercise zones. The key to effective exercise is total calories burned. Dont worry if they come from fat or carbs.
