Hi Linda,
I'm new also. I think pork is an avoid because
it's laced with steroids and lots of antibiotics
whereas the poultry and beef industries have
moved away from this practice (mostly antibiotics
which can cause allergies , a problem for O's.) I read a book called the "Plague Makers" which
has details on misuse of antibiotics. Hope this helps and best of luck
