In Response To: Question for Thomas (Kari)
Hey Sweet Thang, The digestion of starch (in this case, cereal) by alkaline enzymes prevents the digestion of protein by pepsin and some other acid secretions. The stomach gets bloated, etc. I noticed much better digestion after I stopped mixing proteins and starches. If you want better informed advice, ask Dr. D. or Louise this question. -Thomas
