To rephrase, is there any prep work that should be done?

After posting the initial post, I decided to check the other type-specific boards even though this is a broad question. I saw a related question on the "O" board concerning Paragone (sp?). Maybe parasites aren't involved, afterall. Has anyone done anything other than just "dig in" to the diet that has proven beneficial or in hind site thought that something could have been done to enhance the introduction of the ER4YT way of eating?
