I was always the prime target for any biting bug in the country until I went on this diet. As long as I stay on the diet, I'm not bothered (maybe they still bite, but I don't swell or itch). Recently, though, I kind of backslid--mostly due to circumstances that prevented me from doing my own cooking. An afternoon in the garden and I was covered with mosquito bites that itched forever. I'm type O and find that the closer I stay to ketosis, the less the bugs like me.
