Rick, I agree with you. There is no excuse for what these youngsters have done. They are above the age of accountability and most certainly know the difference between right and wrong. That most parents today are not parenting their children is a too true fact. There are not many parents who take the time to talk to their children and express an interest in what they are involved. I know that I am a minority in my own neighborhood when I limit and censor what my son watches what he does and with whom he associates. His friends say I'm "tough". I'm not tough, just concerned. I, too, am concerned what America will be like when I am retired. The news is frightening enough now, what will it be like if everyone does not take raising our children with strong morals, responsibility, and accountability? I am trying my very best to raise a responsible, moral son. He is 12 years old now, and I will not stop reinforcing positive attitudes like these in him. We cannot look upon the two you men as mere children. They cannot hide behind their ages. They must be held accountable for the five lives that they ended. Fauve
