The Blood Type Diet Archives Volume 3
Dr. D or anyone on children's epilepsy, ketogenic diet and blood type???

Have nephew with epilepsy and seizures are becoming more & more difficlut to control. He is on third medication and still lots of problems and hospitalizations. Parents are considering the highly restrictive ketogenic diet for children with epilepsy which has had years of trials with varying degrees of success. The restrictions are far greater than Atkins-every bite counts. Specific ounces of cream and water are the only liquids. All allowed food weighed and charted. Parents don't know blood type and are not familiar with ER4YT. Anyone have any idea if blood type and success rate has ever been looked into? This is not an Atkins level of ketosis and toddler will be monitored closely but it is a scary three year venture. Any help on relations between this diet, success and blood type appreciated.
