Does anyone know about any special dietary considerations that would be healthy, helpful and provides particular benefits for a young girl (unusual case) with ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease)? She is not at the stage to require tube feeding, however, she is beginning to experience swallowing difficulties. There of course, has been talk of success in extending quality of life as well as life expectency with certain treatments, as well as diet and nutritional support.
