Potatoes & Sugar

Dr. D You state that Sweet potatoes are OK for type O's
(please see O board for questions to you regarding this) and yet
Red and White potatoes are Aviods... what are the difference of these?

Also is there a (significant) difference in the sigar made from
sugar beets and sugar cane?
