Wow! I've had these circular red welts on my right hand for about a year now. They come and go a little, but mostly just stay put. Where have you had yours? I went to a dermatologist who diagnosed it as granuloma annulari (?), and said it would run it's course in a year. He said there might be a connection between them and elevated blood sugar, but i've had that checked and it's supposedly normal.

For the past 5 years i've had an ongoing war with the candida critters. Feel at this point that it is pretty much systemic. Everything went south when I went to south america and then india. All kinds of wild symptoms, asthma, fainting and lots of itching. Especially the head and ears. Was tested for parasites and everything else, but tests showed nada and made me very poor.

After spending lots of money on doctors, i started reading up on things myself. Got myself pretty confused, too. Couldn't decide if it was candida, hypoglycemia, thyroid, hormonal or what! Now i think it's probably a little of everything.

Anyway, reading your post made me go "aha!" Looks like i'm back on the unsweet diet. Thanks for sharing A
