Is freeze-dried the same as tincture (bladderwrack) Dr. D?

Just found out that the iodine in the tincture is making my rosacea worse. Is the iodine the same in the freeze-dried capsule? For the time being, I'm going back on the synthroid. Have you any suggestions? Someone suggested that this worsening might possibly be temporary, due to my getting rid of the candida. If that is the case, later on I can try it again.
Also, I have been on para-cleanse, which has the main ingredient of capryllic acid, for only three days. This flare-up began before I started taking it, but I am wondering if there might be another ingredient that is making this problem worse. Guess I just can't figure out what to do about it. Thanks for your consideration.
