Howdy, Ed!
Your lovely presence permeates this place, and the accounts of your struggles fill me with compassion and hope -- for all of us.
Some of the 'weirdest' music was created by my beloved Prokofiev, Satie & Webern. This music ain't new, but its mysterious beauty remains provocative. The sonata for violin & piano #2 of Prokofiev (David Oistrakh!) is a touchstone of my life.
Last week, when I was pondering a difficult choice, I glanced at the street and saw precise advice brought by three trucks in a row speeding by. The slogans on the trucks, combined, formed a sentence which referred to my dilemma and pointed to the proper course, as precisely as if my soul had cleared its throat and spoken. Perhaps we should add to the list of divinatory systems, "midtown rush-hour truckomancy." Speaking of sympathetic magic, perhaps you are feeling better because you are transferring your malaises to your PC? You're going to have to exorcise the pesky thing, the way it's working now!
all the best!
