Dr.D/ED ?Growth Hormone and supplements

I saw a supplement that claims it naturally stimulates your body to release more growth hormone by supplying various amino acids and some other biochemical catalysts for the process. Is this a supplement scam or CAN you nutrtionally "massage" your own body to produce more growth hormone? What are the current diagnoses for receiving prescription growth hormone? Also, Do the fat and starch binder supplements sold slow down your metabolism; I know they prevent absorbtion of fat or starch depending on the type of supplement to a certain level, but do these then unabsorbable complexes slow the metabolism or do they pass as waste?
