It is my understanding that beef and poultry products are not
permitted to be labeled "organic" You can however ususally
read the label to see if they are free range (meaning
permittted to roam rather than grown in pens. You can also check what the label says
about how the animal or bird was feed. Lastly you
could get an address off thelable and write and ask questions.
