Depending on what her diet consists of now, there are many, many items, such as soy bean products, other beans and some seeds that can easily fulfil the protein requirements of a growing teen. The key is avoiding the avoids, such as wheat, corn and peanut butter, and substituting others in their place, such as Ezekial (or 100% sprouted homemade bread) bread, almond/pecan butter, etc. If you or your family members are creative in the kitchen, there is literally no limit to what can be accomplished. best wishes, steve shapiro
