Thanks so much for your input. I have been on Synthroid for
over 22 years, and have had problems with fatigue for about
18 years. In 1993 I was diagnosed with Chronic Fatigue
Syndrome, and have been battling that off and on ever since.
I have some degree of muscle/joint pain most of the time.
My doctor suggested on my last visit one month ago that he
would like to put me on Armour Thyroid. I balked at it as
I had initially been put on it after my thyroid was removed,
and my doctor at the time took me off of it after only a few
months, saying that Synthroid was much better (more consistent
blood levels).

I had a problem about a year and a half ago with adrenal
exhaustion. I now wonder if my current doctor was on the
right track in wanting to take me off of Synthroid.

I printed out your post and plan to show it to my doctor
when I see him next week.

Thanks again,
