Sean, T'is the season to head for PubMed. You'll bask in in the warm glow of 171 references under "adult rubella vaccination" alone. One of the main reasons given in the past for retaining vaccination levels in the adult population is the danger of fetal rubella complications in children of invaccinated mothers. In the 171 refs you will find plenty on side effects which cna occur in some recipients. I'm putting this on the ER4YT web page instead of in e-mail, because I'd like to see more people know about the PubMed data base. It is at a professional level of reading, but you can at least print out some abstracts and head to an ND, PhD, MD, or RD with more questions. Joan
