I used to pore over the paintings of Heironymus Bosch and wonder what drug he was on. My friends are artistic and we used to discuss things like this. One day someone mentioned ergot as a possibility. When I looked it up, it seemed reasonable. Idon't know about Breugel; his paintings seem more normal, though one can see the influence of Breugel on Bosch.
I assume, however, that most results of ergot were not so great.
Also, I had a sort of epiphany. I think type A probably came into the diet around the time that maritime explorers entered Egypt, South America, and other areas, and began teaching and establishing agriculture. I think they were type A's and mixed with the type O's. There's some evidence that they were from the land mass that is now buried under ice in Antarctica.
Then, around the time type B came into the world, there was another series of invasions, though not as beneficent or peaceful or religious. It's something to think about.
