You didn't say what blood type you were. I do a lot of substituting red peppers for tomatoes, but that wouldn't work for Type A. I buy roasted red peppers in a 12-oz jar and puree them in a blender, then add what spices I want, to mimic ketchup, spaghetti sauce, pizza sauce, etc. It's not perfect, but it's not bad, either. I know you can roast your own peppers, too, and this might taste better or be able to be made thicker, but that always seemed like too much work to me when they are available already roasted and canned.
