In Response To: A substitute for KETCHUP (Rebe)

You didn't say what blood type you were. I do
a lot of substituting red peppers for tomatoes,
but that wouldn't work for Type A.

I buy roasted red peppers in a 12-oz jar and puree
them in a blender, then add what spices I want,
to mimic ketchup, spaghetti sauce, pizza sauce,
etc. It's not perfect, but it's not bad, either.

I know you can roast your own peppers, too, and
this might taste better or be able to be made
thicker, but that always seemed like too much
work to me when they are available already
roasted and canned.
