This is one reason I love this website. I am curious about 'thoracic outlet syndrome' and when I read i can't believe it!

Is this what is wrong with me? I was hit by a car in 91 and was forced to stop my music training (classical guitar) because it was so painful to lift my right arm. PT didn't help until someone gave me an exercise to help my neck; it helped a little.

I have suffered so much from this and taken advil, muscle relaxers, done massage therapy, and I just finished a 10 session rolfing procedure which was the best because she did what you are describing (pressure on my collarbone) and she rolfed the INSIDE of my mouth and my head. I felt great relief for weeks but it's come back. now I'm stiff every a.m. again. will this ever go away ;-(

Noone ever said anything about this TOS. can you explain a little more please?
