He sure looked tired and beaten on a CNN report on coq10 this morning. It showed an 80 year old woman who exhausted everything conventional and then benefitted greatly when her cardiologist prescribed the supplement. When the rebuttal part of the report came around, I was expecting someone logically warning that it could be dangerous to put all your trust in a supplement and not keep it all balanced with further treatment and a healthy lifestyle. Instead, we get that old propped up devil saying,"There is some good science out there that shows COQ10 is worthless for heart disease."
I'd always thought Mt. Sanai would be a good place to be brought if I was ever in some grave trouble. I'm sure their ribspreaders are used daily and they are experts at "what they do." No but really if you get in some trouble in NYC, demand to be brought to Bellvue because most NYC cops that are shot or traumatized are brought to their world class trauma center.
As for the politics of cardiology; it must be frustrating and heartbreaking to see a temple built(from a lifetime of work) begin to crumble. My words of encouragement are whatever arc of truth that it contains will survive.
As for CNN; They need a little bit of help with their health reports and soundbites. They do seem to jump right on the newest and coolest topics though they seem either lazy or perhaps propped up themselves.
I went to the CNN site to verify what I know I heard but a victor herbert search only turned up the wacked report they did last year which coupled ER4YT with the inferior book "your body knows best."
