Paul, I have a small library of and followed faithfully the same references you're talking about (I won't waste the space here listing them)for 13 years. Thanks to a little anthropological research and discovering ER4YT, I think I'm going to live to regret that faith. As for the teeth thing - the anthropological research I did says our canines shrunk as our brains grew. We discovered fire and no longer needed sharp teeth for tearing tough, raw flesh and plants. And the GI tract thing - well, mine's a little shorter now after 13 years of veganism - it exploded into oblivion. Another thing those books tell you is vegetarians don't have trouble with ruptured appendixes (appendices?), and that this type O is one of those in the minority of cases!
