Sorry about that, I didn't cover all bases in the first shot! As a type O with thyroid problems, it was clear to me that I would do well to avoid lentils, as they might further impair an already damaged function. Ironically, my disease, Hashimoto's thyroiditis, is characterized by low T4 and elevated TSH, so I would be thrilled to find out I was supposed to eat lentils to lower TSH, but THAT is purely wishful thinking. Unfortunately I love eating lentils. Joan(O)
