The tapes are now icons. No replacement is
needed and CERTAINLY not a refund!!!
I listened to them so many times, I eventually
got everything out of them. These were the
radio show tapes, I have not purchased the
American Cancer Society lecture. Embarrassed,
I have to admit I did not realize they were
available! I do not look in that section
often enough, I guess.
I will get a copy with my next order of
I suspect the transfer there is much better due
to a much more favorable recording environment.
On the subject of sound, since you (seem to) have
a love of music, are you concerned with the
quality of sound as reproduced in the home?
Which is a long way of asking if you listen to
music through valves (vacuum tubes)? If not,
you do not know what you are missing. But,
somehow I have a feeling you do! I know this
