Are Christmas Trees Bad?
Posted By: Ro Date: December-15, 1997 at 19:07:02
We brought a Frasier Fir into the house. It had a very strong pine smell. I started sneezing & coughing immediately. I then developed a headache & congestion in my nose. We kept the tree for 18 hours & then put it outside. That was 2 days ago. I continue to have a runny nose. I went back to where I bought it & asked if it had had any spray on it. The man said he didn't think so but didn't know for sure. I feel that the smell was somewhat unnatural, & the color too. Please tell me if any of you know what might be going on here. I've read that it could be pollen, mold, pesticide. fungicide, strong aromatic oil from the tree, etc. Thanks, Ro. Also how to treat myself to recover,am using MSM & C.
