I have read and enjoyed "Your Body Knows Best" by Ann Louise Gittleman.
I find it very good. She briefly discusses blood type (how could anyone
explain it as well as Dr. D!), but emphasizes fast or slow metabolism as
well as blood type and ancestral heritage in choosing the best personal diet.

She also intelligently discusses why different people require different
diets and what's wrong with current diet trends. She's definitely an
advocate of individualizing one's diet.
