In Response To: Ulcers, Vaccine for H.pylori and blood types (Walter Derzko)
Walter, I am aware of this work, and I think it points directly to the brave new world of anti-adhesive therapy. If H. pylori uses fucose as a point of attachment, then the premise of using Fucus vesiculosis (Bladderwrack), a substantial source of fucose, in type O autoimmune disease, ulcer etc. becomes much more rational, doesn't it? Not mentioned in the article is the fact that individuals who are Lewis B positive also fall into the classification of "ABH secretors." Thanks for the post. Peter
