why other 'individualized' diets never hooked me

In Response To: Other "Diets" that take into account individuality?? (Ramona)
Along my path, I've looked into many of the individualized diets, such as Aruyveda, Mannatech ala Ann Louise Gittleman/and the doctor who invented it (W ???). The problem I always encountered with these diets was they relyed on a questionaire to determine diet. I found my responses to the questions varied over time and condition. Am I hot or cold? Well, that depends on the season, the state of my thyroid gland at the moment. Do I like hot foods or cold foods, spicey or not, am I skinny or heavy? All of these things change over time, and I never got a consistant answer to the same quesions more than 2 weeks in a row. Very, very confusing. At least my blood type hasn't changed recently :-) whew! best wishes, steve shapiro
