Hello. I have a bit of experience (bad) with
this condition. In summary, I don't think anyone
knows "why". It has been reported and studied for
thousands of years, however. I've read many books.
Some say stress, or sometimes the transition from
stress to no stress (going on vacation) can trigger
one, and many others have correlated onset to
various food triggers.

Some personal experience: I follow the diet (A) and
take feverfew (the herb), 2 caps/day. I'm not sure
when it happened, and exactly what it is I'm doing,
but I haven't had a full-blown "classic" migrane
for almost one year now. I'm very happy with that.

I've changed too many variables at once to pin down
any one cause... why I even meditate and do yoga now.
I had them 1/month, sometimes much more.
(more in winter. I have dust/mold allergies - who
knows?)

And I fully agree with the other advice that you
have only been on this diet a very short time. It
may take your system months to slowly adjust.
Try the feverfew - it is very mild and has been
shown to provide some relief (it doesn't stop the
headache - its more a preventative you take long term).

Stick with it. I sure you feel better.
