Yes, questions and answers are posted here. If you do not see an answer, there are two reasons:

1) Nobody knows the answer. Not all questions have answers. Keep in mind that many answers many not be answers, but opinions and hearsay.

2) The answer was sent to the individual who asked the question, if they included their e-mail address in their header information. This saves Peter valuable hard disk space on his server. I have frequently answered many questions in this manner, particularly when the question was a "where do I find this information" type of question.

So, do you have a name and do you have a question?
