ER4YT and the ZONE - A Note from last weekend's Zone conference

Here are some notes from the Zone meeting held by Barry Sears last weekend in Marblehead, MA . These are not Barry Sears' words, but rather, notes from a participant in the group relating what was said. Type O's tend to do better on a HIGHER protein to carb ratio, while type A's still do best in the middle. He recommends that should you be having problems, yes, look at the food selections (in ER4YT), using the recommended foods and avoiding the undesirable ones, according to D'Adamo, but MAINTAIN the ratios of the Zone, except as noted with the 1:1 ratio for the Type O's, but ONLY if you notice that you are not faring as well as you think you should with the standard 1:0.7 ratio of carbs to protein. So, my interpretation of this is that Barry Sears is giving credibility to the ER4YTsystem.
