In Response To: The Cost of Healing (Sam LaTona)
Since I sold my business one year ago, I have basically fallen into the business consulting area.
I have been struck by how many business owners want me to help them with their personal lives as well as their businesses.
I am not qualified to even venture into their personal stuff but so many times I need act as a coach on both fronts. I think much of the stuff I do is listen to business owners and kick start them in a positive direction whether it be for the business or their families.
I am now on retainer to about four companies and in addition do about 1 lecture per month. The retainer work is about 5 full days per month and the lecture (including preparation) is about 2 days.
My family lives very comfortably on the money I earn and I am not stressed out. It is much better than working the 16 or 18 hours I used to work for approximately the same pay. Good luck.
