Experience w/food allergy testing

In Response To: Is food allergy testing neccessary? (Kristy P)
I'm a type O, and I had the IgG Food Sensitivity Assay done by Immuno Labs, at a cost of $350. My holistic MD recommended it when I went to him with symptoms of fatigue, bloating, abdominal pain, etc. The test showed I was only "sensitive" to a few things, most of which I never ate. It did NOT show sensitivity to wheat or corn, which was a large part of my diet. About a week later, I found ER4YT, and immediately began to follow the O guidelines. In about 3 days there was remarkable improvement in my symptoms, (which I had endured for several years, since becoming 95% vegetarian.) Apparently the lectin mechanism is not the same as what we call "food allergies". I'm confused about these distinctions--sensitivities, intolerances, allergies, etc.
I wish I'd found the book first, I coulda saved $325!
