In Response To: Type A, Fruit, ER4YBT, & Macrobiotics (Michael)
We ate macrobiotically for 13 years. Although I was healthier than I'd been before, I never had the energy I should have. Also, my husband (also an A) didn't look healthy--his skin was rather gray, something I see in people who are macro for a long time. After a macro camp, I went really strict on the diet. Unfortunately, it seemd the stricter I ate, the more hot flashes I had (I was going through menopause) and the worse I felt. Then a friend introduced me to fasting and colon cleansing with pretty incredible results. I also added Green Magma to our diet. I did a lot of carrot juice until I turned orange! Our energy increased, my husband's color improved. We eat real close to ER4YT and find it plugs the "holes" left by macro. I never drink fruit juices. I eat maybe one piece for fruit a day, never more than 2. The kids eat more. I do eat a lot of organic baby greens (raw) with flax seed oil and lemon juice. I do carrot juice only when I think I might be coming down with a cold. My energy is fantastic and our whole family is feeling better. I would definitely keep on ER4YT. Tailor it to your body. 3 fruits are definitely too many for me, especially in winter. I will eat more fruits in the summer.
