Dear Dr. D, I saw the interesting fact in your book re: Beri Beri disease in the old days when they starting polishing rice. So does this mean all of us that should eat rice should only eat brown rice to get the most benefits from this super food? Does that disease appear today? Also, how does water chestnuts fit into the Type A diet? Thanks!
