Woodburning smoke

Hi, I have a friend who has Multiple Chemical Sensitivity. Actually there is an entire group of us with this problem in Louisville. She is trying to find out if there is anything she can take that would help with woodburning smoke. Her neighbors have it coming out of the stack every day and she fears having to move. Any ideas?
