In grade school my family doctor told my mom to use iodized salt - he'd noticed an enlarged thyriod, I guess. Around this time I noticed my morning temperature was below 98.6 (I'd take it in an attempt to get out of going to school when I felt ill). In college I started seeing my current doc, who put me on the Armour Thyroid. I've always been aware of the enlargement. It seems lately to be smaller, but maybe that's wishful thinking. The implications, if it is smaller, would be best explained by Doctor D'Adamo, & I'm looking forward to seeing what my doctor, an endocrinologist, has to say. Of course if it has shrunk I'd be really interested in why my endocrinologist never recommended anything beyond the prescription.
