Dear Carol,

Following the O diet should have very nice effects in diminishing the freqency and severity of herpes outbreaks. As for the candida, try to work out a diet that minimizes starchy vegetables, but emphasizes high protein food sources. Do that for a while, then gradually re-introduce the foods asper the O diet plan.

There is a topical licorice gel that is available that dramatically cuts down on recurrences of gential herpes. It is called "licrogel" and is made by Scientific Botanicals in Seattle WA. Your doctor or pharmacist will have to order it for you.
