Granola - seeming contradiction in the book

Posted By: Ed Sweeney

My wife and I are on the diet and we noticed a seeming
contradiction in the book. I am Type O and she is
Type A. We noticed that Granola is on both of our
avoid lists, yet there is a recipe for Granola in the
recipe section for each of us. Oats, an ingredient
in the book's Maple Walnut Granola recipe, is on Type
O's avoid list. What's the reason?
Thanks.
