Thanks for a great site, and your taking so much time to answer questions. Do you think the basic "O" diet will help with control of diabetes. I have been mostly a vegetarian the past few years (minimum animal products with lots of carbohydrates, such as pastas and breads as well as dairy products (because they are convenient). I am overweight and attempting to lose weight and increase my exercise levels. I take glucotrol and metaformin. Are soy products a good substitute for animal foods. Thanks, Tom
