Dear Roger,

See my response to your earlier post. Often, type A's get a condition called gastritis, initially from low stomach acid, which then damages the stomach lining, leading to many of the symptoms of stomach ulcer. A useful supplement is DGL (de-glycyrhinated licorice) which can help repair the stomach lining. It is available at any health food store. The Bastyr University Natural Health Clinic in Seattle can probably put you in touch with a naturopath versed in the blood type system.
