In Response To: Animals have b/types? Adelle Davis was type A? (Karen Watland)
I have wondered about dog blood types myself, and would guess that they are "like" type O since they have probably not evolved beyond it. I have one who is sensitive to low-cost dog food, which often contains wheat and corn, and gets "itchy and whiny" after eating it for a while. He does best on vegetables, organ meat/chicken/ beef, and a little rice (to bind) when I have the impetus to make the food myself, but does well on ones like Nutromax, too.
As far as Davis is concerned, I never read any of her books, but once heard that she was also big on bone meal, which is high in lead and other pollutants. That could be one of the things that contributed to it. turf
